📖 Read: Thank you, Mr Hammami! أقرأ
Last week, the kids of 6th year B wanted to surprise their teacher, Mr Hammami, for Teacher’s Day.
On Tuesday, they came to school at 7:30, before the teacher. They decorated the classroom with balloons and ribbons. Hiba made a big poster. Fares wrote Thank you, teacher! on the board.
At eight o’clock, Mr Hammami opened the door. The kids shouted: “Happy Teacher’s Day!” He didn’t say a word. He looked at the poster and he smiled. Then he said: “Thank you, kids! I didn’t expect this!” It was a lovely morning.

A model text to compare with (after writing mine)
Last Friday was Teacher’s Day. My classmates and I prepared a surprise for Mrs Gharbi. We decorated the classroom with ribbons and we wrote a big poster. I didn’t forget the card: I wrote it at home. When Mrs Gharbi came in, she didn’t understand at first. Then she read the poster and she laughed. She said: Thank you, kids! We were very proud.
One good example among many: compare, don’t copy.
